The TfL take on motherhood

On my way back from a rather soggy Canary Wharf this lunchtime, I happened to look properly at the new priority stickers currently emblazoned across the TfL network;

“Priority seat for people who are pregnant, disabled

or less able to stand”

… following the subtext of the sign; it would seem that having a child is now classed as a disability!

Good ol’ TfL!

    Hah! Nice. 😀 You gotta love public transport.

    I think a woman just holding a baby in her arms is gonna be a rare occurrence – they usually have prams or those backpack-style things. I do think it’s probably a bit extreme – in the future the sign is going to need to extend half way along the carriage at this rate.

    Hi, nice blog btw. 🙂
