There’s currently an image going around the internet of Great Britain from space in the current snowy climate (taken by NASA’s Terra satellite), which I think we all agree is rather spectacular!
It made me giggle a little to see that Eire is without snow… much in the way that the BBC weather forecasters give us the weather for everywhere except Eire, leaving it blank and weatherless.
More space pictures please!

You’re absolutely right. Why IS Eire always left out of the BBC weather forecast? I’ve often wondered that myself.

Because we don’t pay a BBC license fee 🙂
We have plenty of snow this weekend though.

Neither do France, Belgium or The Netherlands, but yet we still show bits of their weather on our forecasts.
All very silly, especially for people who live on the Irish border heh. They must dread winds from the South, as they never know what’s coming!
