Just came across this 2006 French AIDS awareness video directed by Wilfred Brimo and released by a group called AIDES whilst trawling on the Tube of You and thought I’d share with everyone.

Seen it a few times now, but never had chance to blog it. Really sweet little video I think, made me smile – and in my opinion has the potential to be just as effective as the scare-adverts that the Government produced back in the 80s. In fact, given the almost unshockable society that we seem to live in, perhaps this clip is the most effective/engaging medium for getting AIDS prevention messages across to younger folk, like myself, who were fortunate enough not to have to live through the whole HIV/AIDS nightmare and PSA’s of Maggie’s day

Plus, the anime lead character is HAWT hehe *blush*

There’s also one for the straight folk amongst us…

And this fabulous generalised one with the tag-line of “Whatever you’re into” hehe!
