If you’ve been following my site for some time, you may remember that around this time last year, I was absolutely gushing over the talents of the kids (and creatives) from the North West Theatre Arts Company, who had very kindly invited me to see their self-penned musical, ‘STREETZ’ – pulled together from a reflection of the stories and experiences of the cast members themselves.

Please, please, please – I cannot implore you enough to watch the below YouTube and see the amazing talent that these kids have first hand.

The North West Theatre Arts Company currently operates out of Moston, near Harpurhey in Manchester (which many people will have seen on BBC Three’s ‘People Like Us’) – this is but one amazing project coming out of this area, and it definitely deserves to be held up as a shining example of the people making the place, and not a reputation!
