Last week, Max and I embarked on something of a last-minute short vacation to the region of Tuscany in Italy.
We had an absolutely fantastic time, and I think that it’s safe to say that neither of us really wanted to come back to gloomy old England – for the duration of our stay in the small spa town of Montecatini Terme, the mercury was around the 37oC mark!
Trip highlights for us would be the roof-top hotel pool terrace, the fantastic landscapes and the culinary delicacies of the region (Tuscan beef HAS to be tasted to be believed!!!!).
A full selection of pictures from our trip is available on my Facebook page (if we’re connected) else, they’re also publicly uploaded to iCloud, which anyone can see, though it doesn’t carry commentary on there.
Below are a few of my favourite images:
… and if you’re interested, you can click here to see my TripAdvisor reviews of most of the places that we encountered, including our hotel.
You can totally bet that we’re already trying to plan our trip back for later in the summer!!!! 😛
Gorgeous pics! So jealous!!
No theatre I’m guessing but what a divine place for a vacation!

Haha! The weather was so gorgeous I don’t think that anyone would want to sit in a theatre for several hours and miss out on the lovely evenings!!! 😛
