Best bit of news to come out of the recent Apple announcements has been the addition of GarageBand to the iPad (and for a very reasonable £3 – so no surprise it’s at the top of the UK app charts at the moment!).
Upon hearing the default / example song – ‘Curtain Call’ – I decided that it was far too bland and decided to put GarageBand through its paces within a 5 minute ‘lazy messing around’ time-slot to see if it really was as easy and versatile as Apple claimed. Suffice as to say, it really was!
Being an uber-geek and a child of the 80s, I decide to go for a bit of a video arcade remix and tweaked the demo around to produce the below:
For the record, here’s the original (skip to 10m 0sec) – big improvement, no?! 😛
Very much looking forward to using this program a lot more on my iMac once I hook my keyboard up to it, and I love the synchronisation that can occur between this and my iPad 😀
