I have to say, I am VERY surprised to be blogging about acts featured on Channel Five’s incredibly dismal talent show offering, Don’t Stop Believing.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve found the production values on the show to be especially poor (and the image and sound quality hideous and unprofessional), and at times, the talent has been questionable.
Not so with Love Soul Choir and Original Talent, both of whom were featured on the show last week, and (for the first time) both made Greg and I nod our heads in unanimous approval!
Here’s those respective performances;
Our favourites were Original Talent, especially commendable in our eyes because they don’t have the funding and stage school background that the other groups all seem to have – they were remarkably creative we thought.
The result of the show last week though just goes to show how flawed this is – neither act got through, with the UK public (and supposedly knowledgable Judges) voting for the tuneless, bland and gimmicky acts… again!
Thus, I just wanted to give these two show choirs a little bit of the recognition that they deserve! 🙂
