I really love the sound on this track!

A great bass line on it, it’s not overly R&B sounding, and I love the lazy vocal and the raw ‘stripped down’ feel to it.

Give me this over Amy Winehouse any day!

Melanie Fiona (aka. Melanie Hall) is a Canadian R&B singer (unusual?) who supported Kanye West on tour back in 2008, but is still only just finding her way as a new artist. An album, ‘The Bridge’, is forthcoming.

This song hasn’t done all that well in the charts in other countries, the best it’s seen so far is a number 11 hit in Italy;  number 6 in Slovenia and a number 2 chart place in Croatia… neither the US or the Canadians warmed particularly to it.

I really hope that this does well in the UK as I love it!!
