Trip Report: Disneyland Paris – October 2013

Just back from Disneyland Paris (October 3rd – October 6th) and have finally got around to uploading my pictures etc.

A selection of some of my favourites are in the gallery below, but do please feel free to check out the PhotoStream for the full set.

There are a selection of my reviews on TripAdvisor, which give an indication of what I thought of the whole experience., from the hotel to the parks, and places that we ate in.

Disneyland Paris really marked a turning point for me in a way – previously, I’ve always shied away from roller-coasters, and whilst I did chicken out on some of the more intense ones, I absolutely had my first ever inversion on the Indiana Jones ride (admittedly, I wasn’t expecting it first time around, thanks Max, haha!, but went on for a second time the next day, to prove to myself it wasn’t just fluke ha). I also went on the Big Thunder Mountain roller-coaster, AND on the Crush’s Coaster (which was a backwards, spiny at fast pace in the dark kind of roller-coaster, and not the nice Finding Nemo ride that I was expecting either, ha!). Disney magic in action folks, ha!!!

Finally, I have to say that I absolutely LOVED the brand new Hallowe’en parade (we were there in time for the soft launch) and cannot get the song out of my head – REALLY hoping that Disney release this soon! Additionally, Disney Dreams was SPECTACULAR!

None of the videos below are my copies (these are far more superior) but they really do give a much better sense of ‘justice’ to the experience, which I really really want to go back and do again!

      1. C’mon…if I can do it, you can do it!
I will admit that I was somewhat tricked into going on it by the guy I was there with, a little bit like the way you were coaxed onto the Indiana Jones ride by Max..
