Manchester Pride – Tickets Now Onsale!


I meant to post this back on May 1st but have been slightly caught up in a few things since then.

Official ticketing information is below (and in more detail on their newly revamped website, which has lots of other Pride related news and goodies too); please make sure that you support Manchester Pride this year!! Yes the ticket price has gone up by 25%, yes gaydar are now sponsoring it, and yes, the old logo was much better, but if you can see past that then you’re in for a fantabulous weekend me thinks!



The moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived – tickets for Manchester Pride 2008’s Big Weekend are now available online, over the phone or from selected bars and stores in Manchester City Centre.

For an early bird bargain price of £12.50 (plus booking fee), you can get yourself a slice of the summer’s hottest 78-hour party!

Weekend Passes

For hardcore Priders amongst you, and to get outstanding value, get your mitts on a Big Weekend pass – 78 hours of pure unadulterated celebration for only £12.50!

Friday 22 August, 6pm – Monday 25 August, 12 midnight

Early Bird (before 14 July) – £12.50 (+ booking fee)
In advance (from 14 July) – £17.50 (+ booking fee)
From 22 August at the Box Office – £22.50 (no booking fee)

Day Tickets

If you’re not quite up to all four days, you can still join the action with a day ticket bought in advance or grabbed from the Box Office on your way in.

Day tickets – Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday OR Monday all day

Available online or over the phone for £10 plus £1 booking fee and a £2 transaction fee.

Available from the Big Weekend Box Office between 10am and 9pm over the festival at a cost of £13 per ticket.

Child Day Tickets

For those with wee tykes in tow, child tickets are available on the day from the Box Office for children under 10 years of age.

Child day tickets – only available from the on-site Box Office for £5 between 10am and 9pm each day.

Tickets are available now from Clone Zone and selected venues in Manchester City Centre.
