*** WARNING – POSSIBLE SPOILERS ***

Just seen this on 4OD and I must say, I was very impressed! I was an emotional wreck by the end of it. I thought that it was a very well written episode that made me experience a whole roller-coaster of emotions. Although I know that Skins has it’s outspoken critics, I have always championed this show as I think that it is simply fantastic to watch and so easy for people of my age to relate to.

Without giving too much of the plot away in case there are folk who have yet to see it… one of the opening scenes is a corker…

Another one of the episode’s many highlights comes when Tony and Sid decide to steal Chris’ coffin with the aid of Tony’s little red mini. Watching the car zipping through the streets of Bristol with a coffin attached to the roof whilst Girl’s Aloud’s “Sound of the Underground” is playing is hilarious enough until this happens…

… after which point they then drive down a flight of steps and make their getaway! haha!

I for one will sorely miss this programme and am not too confident that a new series with a completely new cast is going to work as surely that makes it a completely different show?!

I do hope that Mitch Hewer (Maxxie) returns to our screens soon – Monday evenings will be so dull without a chance to get a bit of perving in hehe!

Nicholas Hoult as Tony was also delightfully yummy!
