A lovely lazy weekend

With regards to my weekend, I think that the title of this post says it all really!

Saturday morning permitted me a lovely lie in, with my only task for the day being to tidy up ready for when Stu was to come round in the evening. He had been due at 6, but I was very pleased when he called to ask if we could make it 5 instead – so I got a whole extra hour with him, yay! I went to meet him at the tube station and had one of those ‘wow’ moments when I saw him *blush* hehe. We went to Sainsburys so that I could pick up a few bits and pieces and also picked up a fish and chip supper from the local chippy – yum!

I ended up introducing Stu to Millicent and Henry (my giraffe and hippo respectively) and then had a lovely evening being all snuggly and playing PS2 games. I was introduced to the Rayman Raving Rabbids game which I definitely want to get a copy of now hehe! I may order it tonight along with Singstar! Is it bad to have been so geeky that I have looked up the entire history of the game via Wikipedia and am now a bit of a bod on it’s background?? hehe! I really REALLY like the Shake Your Booty! mini game… erk!

This REALLY makes me want a Wii now, as it seems that this game would be fantastic exercise if nothing else hehe! This game was also the launch title for the Wii when it first came out. At the end of the clip you can see the Shake Your Booty! game when “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” kicks in. I know that Stu will probably be the only person who can appreciate just how much I want to be able to play this in real life…. hehe!

The clip below is a compilation of Shake Your Booty! rounds…

Today was much of the same really, we didn’t get up until about 1pm, so had a rather late breakfast and played Simpson’s Road Rage for a few hours (which I continuously beat Stu at *giggles*, though I will concede that he did win once or twice :oP ), Afterwards we watched Little Britain (series  one) until it was time for Stu to head off in the evening.

So yeah, a lovely weekend, though I am missing the stuggles (my new word for Stu huggles) already hehe!

The coming week looks to be a rather quiet one – don’t know if anyone fancies arranging anything??? Easter weekend is also going to very quiet it seems. I think I am going to have to resort to purchasing my own eggs this year as I don’t think anyone else will be buying for me this year :o( Meh hehe. Still; a quiet weekend certainly beats being at work, and I am thinking of inviting anyone who isn’t going home for Easter over for Easter dinner… I’ll see what kind of responses I get first I guess… :o)

Have a good week and thanks for reading xx
